TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT YOUR FAMILY AND WHAT YOU DO FOR A LIVING.

A native of Little Rock, AR, I met my husband, Ben, during our college years at Baylor. We spent our first 2 years of marriage in Houston, TX, and have called NC home for the past 22 years. We have two daughters, Addie, a rising sophomore at Belmont University, and EJ, a current sophomore at Trinity School. We have attended CHBC since 2013.

I have served in various roles with Meals on Wheels of Orange County for the past 10 years, and my favorite part is serving meals to the homebound on Mondays. I own a small business, Happies For The Home, selling home decor and gifts in downtown Mebane and Cary. I also enjoy conducting downsizing and estate sales for folks in the community.

Some activities I enjoy include watching documentaries, taking a good nap, walking with friends, watching baseball and basketball, and attending concerts.

HOW DID YOU BECOME A FOLLOWER OF CHRIST?

I grew up in a Christian home and committed my life to Christ at the age of 10 after a week of Vacation Bible Study at my church. I began walking with the Lord during my college years at Baylor through a CRU mentor. God has used the local church and Godly women in my life to continue to help me grow in my relationship with Christ through my adult years.

HOW DO YOU HOPE TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE MISSION OF CHBC?

I desire to help members to feel known and loved, to share in the gift of hospitality, and to walk alongside women in all stages of life.
